Kerman Christian School Homeschool Hybrid Program:

Schedule:
Monday – Thursday: Homeschool

Description:

The homeschool prospective student will work from home Monday through Thursday. Exceptions to attendance will be considered for special events at school, such as chapel services, sports, field trips, electives, school club activities, Christmas pageants, open house, back-to-school night, birthdays, and holiday parties.

Parents or homeschool teachers will provide instruction from Monday through Thursday. The school homeroom teacher assigned to the student will prepare schoolwork packets and lesson plans. Homeschool educators will receive weekly instructions, and parents/guardians will pick up new assignments and lesson plans every Friday, when the student attends class.

Friday School Attendance (8:00am – 12:15pm):

Homeroom attendance at Kerman Christian School.

On Fridays, homeschool students will transition into the regular school schedule. They will work with peers, be assessed, take necessary tests and quizzes, and receive academic support from classroom teachers to complete any projects presented through the curriculum.

Clarifying Kerman Christian School Hybrid Homeschool Program:

The Kerman Christian Homeschool program is a hybrid program, where homeroom teachers provide lesson plans, textbooks, and learning tools. Homeroom teachers maintain consistent communication with parents regarding testing data and academic needs. Parents, homeroom teachers, and academic facilitators work collaboratively to create the best learning environment for each student.

Report Cards:

Grades, progress reports, and report cards will be provided by Kerman Christian School through the homeroom teacher, with collaborative assistance from school facilitators, and parents (or homeschool teachers).

Tuition:

Overall tuition will be modified by considering the percentage of time utilized by paid staff (educators and facilitators) to help create the best hybrid homeschool experience for prospective homeschool students. This includes lesson planning, curriculum development, materials, testing, and assessments on Fridays (attendance days), along with extra-curricular activities.
